In 2006 Ingersoll Rand acquired the low pressure product business from BOC Edwards which includes the Hibon and Hick Hargreaves brand names.
Although the product ranges had been rationalized to reduce model duplication, many of the low pressure blowers from Hibon and Hick Hargreaves are still manufactured under the Ingersoll Rand brand names.
The Ingersoll Rand low pressure blower catalogue covers a wide range of types and sizes, ranging from small bi-lobe and tri-lobe roots blowers to large multi-stage centrifugal blowers.
Having been distributors of Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment for almost 40 years, in 2010 mb air systems were also officially appointed as distributors for the low pressure blower range. This makes the mb air systems engineering skills, workshops and regional storage facilities available to both the Compressed Air and Low Pressure users within the UK.
The close working partnership of Ingersoll Rand and mb air systems now brings low pressure systems design capability and direct replacements for Hibon and Hick Hargeaves blowers to local distribution centres throughout the UK.
